Considerations for thermal pastes
When using thermal paste, you have flexibility with different light sources. You can easily apply the necessary paste to various sizes. The downside is that the paste is not always applied evenly and can quickly become messy on the LED cooler. As a solution, you can use screen printing for an even and consistent application of paste.
Thermal resistance of interface materials
When calculating the thermal management of a fixture, the interface material is often forgotten in this calculation. Interface material ensures optimal transfer and the elimination of air between the LED cooler and light source.
