Key considerations for LED coolers

Extruded cooling solutions
Extrusion is an inexpensive solution for making an LED cooler. During the manufacturing process, aluminum is pushed through a mold. It is then cut to the desired length, and finally, the heatsink is anodized or given a color of choice.
Pin Fin cooling solutions
Pin Fin LED coolers are used when the fixture is placed at an angle. When an LED cooler is set at an angle above 50 degrees, we recommend using a Pin Fin LED cooler. In the process of making a Pin Fin heatsink, aluminum is cold-pressed into a mold. The so-called pins are then cut off, and the heatsink is anodized or painted as desired.
