Reliable performance with our LED drivers for optimal power delivery
Our LED drivers are designed to provide a consistent and stable output, which is crucial for the proper functioning and long life of LEDs. Using advanced technologies, our drivers ensure energy-efficient operation, contributing to both cost savings and sustainability.
What to consider when choosing an LED driver
When selecting the right LED driver for a specific application, several key factors should be taken into account:
- Constant Current Source: The driver delivers a fixed current while voltage may fluctuate. This is typically used for COB LEDs.
- Constant Voltage Source: The driver provides a fixed voltage while current may vary—ideal for LED strips.
- Non-Dimmable LED Driver: Chosen when the lighting only needs to be switched on or off. Alternatively, external dimmers can be used—these can be found under LED Dimmers at Luxendi.
- Dimmable LED Driver: Allows for brightness control and is available in both constant current and constant voltage versions. Consider whether the driver will be dimmed wirelessly or via wired control. At Luxendi, we support the following dimming protocols:
- DALI / DALI-2
- Phase-cut (TRIAC)
- PWM Signal
- 0-10 Volt/ 1-10 Volt signal
- Casambi
- Matter
- Potentiometer (manual adjustment)
- KNX
- Push dimming
- Configurability: Some LED drivers offer internal settings to adjust voltage (e.g., for long LED strip runs). In constant current drivers, manufacturers specify a fixed current, which can be adjusted using dip-switches or NFC via a smartphone app.
Whether it’s for residential, office, or industrial lighting, Luxendi offers LED drivers suitable for every type of project. Each application requires a specific driver, and our team has years of experience in helping clients select the perfect solution.

Tailored recommendations for your application
LED drivers must be selected based on the nature of your project—whether it requires constant current or constant voltage. Traditional COB LEDs require constant current, while LED strips are usually powered by constant voltage. Not sure which type of driver you need? Contact the Luxendi team for tailored advice.

Dimmable LED Drivers
Every project requires its own specific lighting control—for example, a restaurant. When guests are present, a cosy, warm atmosphere is desirable, so the lighting is dimmed. During cleaning, however, maximum brightness is needed. Luxendi offers both wired and wireless dimming options in its drivers. Curious about the options? Get in touch.
Strain relief or wired drivers
When selecting an LED driver, it’s important to consider where it will be used—outdoors or in an office, for instance. Wired drivers often include potting materials, enabling them to meet high IP ratings like IP67 for outdoor use. In office environments, IP67 is usually unnecessary, but strain relief is often a requirement to prevent wires from being accidentally pulled out.
